Field Information

Model
Model

A code to identify the object model.

Standard

This check box indicates whether the model is a standard or a customized model.

You cannot maintain a standard model or its child components, such as actions and table relations.

You can delete a standard model if it is not deployed.

Object Type
Object Type

A code to identify the object type.

Label

The label that contains the object type description.

If you select a label, the corresponding description is displayed in the Description field.

If you do not select a label, you must specify a description in the Description field.

Description

The description of the object type.

If you selected a label in the Label field, the corresponding description is displayed. Labels can be stored in multiple languages. Therefore the description can differ per language.

If no label is selected, you must specify a fixed description, which applies to all languages.

At runtime, the description is used during, for example, error handling.

Root Table

The main/root table of the object type. The primary key of this table identifies the object type.

Check Out Condition

The check out condition for the root table. Only objects that meet this condition are checked out.

Standard

This check box indicates whether the object type is a standard or a customized object type.

If you copy a model from a standard model, the object types in the new model are standard; the new model itself is not standard.

If you modify or create an object type, the Standard check box is automatically cleared.

Note: If you change the attributes back to the standard definition, the Standard check box stays cleared.
