Patch Codes (ttiex4500m000)
This session lists the patch codes that you can define and modify in the session.
A patch is a collection of components, such as sessions, forms and program scripts.
Take the following steps to create a patch:
- Click to add a new patch code.
- Enter the patch's details, such as Patch Code, Description and Export VRC in the session.
- On the menu, select . This will start the session. Here you must specify the components, e.g. sessions and program scripts, that must be included in the patch.
- On the menu in the session, select . The patch's components are exported to a patch file and a content list is generated.
If you have started this session by zooming, you can only find and select a record.
A patch file must be distributed to the relevant recipients/customers. You can, for example, place the patch file on a web site, so that the recipients can download it.
Recipients of patches, e.g. customers, must import their patches through the session.
Do not use this session to create patches that must be imported through the Product Maintenance and Control (PMC) module. To create PMC solutions, use the and sessions.
