Configuration Export Overview (ttdcm0563m100)

Use this session to maintain configuration exports. In this session, you can perform these actions:
  • Include configuration objects or configuration data companies in the configuration export.
  • Exclude configuration objects or configuration data companies from the configuration export
  • Select the instances that must be included in the configuration export.
  • Deselect the instances that must not be included in the configuration export.
  • Select the parameters that must be included in the instance.
  • Deselect the parameters that must not be included in the instance.

The root table linked to the configuration object is used to determine the physical company number. When this is not equal to the company in the overview, this is shown as 400 (physical company for 300).

The export overview is displayed in these levels:

  • Level1 (root level): The configuration export name and the description.

  • Level 2: The object sets of the configuration export with their description and name.

  • Level 3: The configuration objects of the set with their description and name.

  • Level 4: The available configuration data companies of the configuration export.

  • Level 5: The selected instances. If no instances are selected, the text All instances is displayed.

  • Level 6: The selected parameters for configuration objects of type Parameter .

Selecting instances

To select an instance, complete these steps:

  1. Put the mouse pointer on the relevant company in level 4 and in the context menu, click Select Instance(s) or click the New button.
  2. In the selection session, select the instance or instances and click the Save and exit icon.

The selection session is defined in the Configuration Object (ttdcm0501m000) session.

To delete the instances of a configuration data company, complete these steps:

  1. Put the mouse pointer on the relevant company.
  2. In the context menu, click Delete All Instances.

To delete an individual instance, complete these steps:

  1. Put the mouse pointer on the relevant instance.
  2. In the context menu, click Delete Instance.
  3. When selecting more than one instance on level 5, press Ctrl+left-click or Shift+left-click. You can delete the instances by clicking the Delete button.
Note: 

When the physical company of a root table of a record-based configuration object is not included in the set of configuration data companies, you cannot select instances.

Selecting parameters

To select a parameter, complete these steps:

  1. Put the mouse pointer on the relevant instance in level 5 and in the context menu, click Select Parameter(s) or click the New button.
  2. In the selection session, select the parameter or parameters and click the Save and exit icon.

The Type (Parameter) and Instance Session are defined in the Configuration Object (ttdcm0501m000) session.

To delete the parameters of an instance, complete these steps:

  1. Put the mouse pointer on the relevant instance.
  2. In the context menu, click Delete All Parameters.

To delete an individual parameter, complete these steps:

  1. Put the mouse pointer on the relevant parameter.
  2. In the context menu, click Delete Parameter.
  3. When selecting more than one parameter on level 6, press Ctrl+left-click or Shift+left-click. You can delete the parameters by clicking the Delete button.
Note: 

If the configuration object is not of type Parameter, then you cannot select parameters. If the configuration object has no Instance Session, you cannot start the Select Parameters (ttdcm0263s000) session.

Excluding or including configuration objects

You can exclude or include configuration objects on level 2 and level 3.

On level 2, complete these steps:

  1. Put the mouse pointer on the relevant configuration object set and right-click.
  2. In the context menu, select Include All Configuration Objects to include all configuration objects of the configuration object set. This option is disabled if all configuration objects are included.

On level 3, complete these steps:

  1. Put the mouse pointer on the relevant configuration object and right-click.
  2. In the context menu, select these options as required:
    • Exclude Other Configuration Objects, to exclude the other configuration objects of the configuration object set to which the selected configuration object belongs.
    • Exclude Configuration Object, to exclude the selected configuration object.
    • Include Configuration Object, to include the selected configuration object.
  3. When selecting more than one configuration object on level 3 (by pressing Ctrl+left-click or Shift+left-click), you can exclude or include the selected configuration objects, provided all the objects are in the same state (excluded or included).

Excluding or including configuration data companies

You can exclude or include data companies on level 4.

To exclude or include data companies, complete these steps:

  1. Put the mouse pointer on the relevant configuration data company and right-click.
  2. In the context menu, select these options as required:
    • Exclude Other Companies, to exclude the other configuration data companies of the configuration object to which the selected configuration data company belongs.
    • Exclude Company, to exclude the selected configuration data company.
    • Include Company, to include the selected configuration data company.
  3. When selecting more than one data company on level 4 (by pressing Ctrl+left-click or Shift+left-click), you can exclude or include the selected data companies, provided all the objects are in the same state (excluded or included).
Note: If a configuration object was created in another package combination with companies that are not available in the current package combination, then these companies are not used in the export. The text (Not available in current package combination.) is displayed behind the company number.
