Import Configuration Data (ttdcm0211m000)
Use this session to import configuration data.
You can export configuration data in your source environment using the Configuration Export (ttdcm0560m100) session. By performing an export run, a configuration data export file is created.
To import configuration data, select a configuration data export file downloaded from the source environment and click
. All configuration data are imported. A progress indicator is displayed that you can use to stop the import process.Field Information

Specify the file from which to import data. The file must have a
.tar.gz
extension.Select a file that was created with the Configuration Export (ttdcm0560m100) session in the source environment and downloaded to your PC or uploaded to the target environment.

Select the source of the import data: Client or Server.

Specify or browse the data file from the client.

Specify or browse the data file from the server.
- Validate before import

If this check box is selected, specific checks are performed before the import of the configuration data is started. This is to ensure that the import is performed without major issues.
The checks to be performed are specified in the Configuration Data Management Parameters (ttdcm0100m000) session.
- Overwrite existing data

If this check box is selected, existing data is overwritten with data from the file.
If this check box is cleared, existing data is not overwritten with data from the file.
- Print instances

If this check box is selected, a report is created on which all instances with their identifiers are displayed by company.
If this check box is cleared, only errors are logged on the report.
- Print table data

If this check box is selected, the names of the main table and associated tables, and the corresponding identifiers, are displayed on the report.
- Trace Level

The detail level of the information written to logfile log.dcm.
