Projections (ttchm3150s000)

Use this session to maintain projection points. These indicate at what category value a new projection area is to start.

By means of a projection you can split graphs into different parts (projection areas). Each area has its own attributes. One series can thus be shown by different graphical means in different projection areas. This is a convenient method to distinguish, in a graph, between measured and expected (projected) values in one series. Two projection areas are separated by a projection line, which is positioned at right angles to the category axis.

You can add a footnote to each projection point; enter the footnote number and define the footnote in the Footnotes (ttchm3180s000) session.

Example

Of the data values represented in a graph, those refer to the months up to and including October are measured. The data values for November and December are forecasted (projected). To make the difference clear, you can have the projected data represented by a different type of line (for example dotted). The projection point is November 1, and must be entered in this session.

Field Information

Value

Footnote

The number of the footnote added to the projection point.

You can add a footnote to the projection point. The footnote must be created in the Footnotes (ttchm3180s000) session on the Data menu and its number must filled in this field.
