Domains (ttchm3105s000)

Use this session to define domains for data, category and series.

The Chart Manager uses three domain types:

Enumerated Set The domain consists of a set of labels that are defined in the Sets (ttchm3106s000) session. You must enter an existing set and the label numbers in this set that you can use.

Integer The domain consists of a range of whole numbers. Enter an interval and a display format.

Real The domain consists of a range of whole numbers and fractions. Enter an interval and a display format.

Tools checks the data input. If data that is defined in the Chart Data (ttchm3100s000) session does not fit in the associated domain an error message is given.

Data II Domains

If you are by using two data domains and two different data axes, use this function to indicate which series are to be linked to which data domain in the Data Domains by Series (ttchm3104s000) session.

Field Information

Domain Type

Select the type of series domain.

Domain Type

The name of the set that contains the names of the series to be drawn. The set is defined in the Sets (ttchm3106s000) session. You only must enter a value in this field, if the domain is of the enumerated type.

Domain Type

The data domain's type. The data axis data lies in the range of this domain.

Domain Type

The name of the set that contains the labels for the data axis. This set must have been defined in the Sets (ttchm3106s000) session. Fill in this field if the domain is of the Enumerated type.

Label

The title of the series domain.

Label

The data domain's title.

Unit Label

The measure, quantity, or physical quantity for the series domain.

Unit Label

The measure, quantity, or physical quantity for the data domain.

Range

The start value of the domain.

This value depends on the domain type which is selected in the Domain Type field. If the type is Enumerated you must fill in the number of the last label to be assigned. If the type is Real or Integer, you must fill in a number.

Range

The end value of the domain.

This value depends on the domain type which is selected in the Domain Type field. If the type is Enumerated you must fill in the number of the last label to be assigned. If the type is Real or Integer, you must fill in a number.

Range

The start value of the domain.

This value depends on the domain type which is selected in the Domain Type field. If the type is Enumerated you must fill in the number of the first label to be assigned which is usually number 1. If the type is Real or Integer, you must fill in a number.

Range

The end value of the domain.

This value depends on the domain type which is selected in the Domain Type field. If the type is Enumerated you must fill in the number of the last label to be assigned. If the type is Real or Integer, you must fill in a number.

Interval

The domain interval.

This value depends on the domain type, which is defined in the Domain Type field. If the type is Enumerated, fill in 1 if each label from the set must be included in the domain. If the type is Real or Integer, fill in the step size.

Interval

The domain interval.

This value depends on the domain type, which is defined in the Domain Type field. If the type is Enumerated, fill in 1 if each label from the set must be included in the domain. If the type is Real or Integer, fill in the step size.

Display

The display format for displaying values from this domain in the chart.

If the domain is of the enumerated type you cannot enter a value in this field.

Display

The display format for displaying values from this domain in the chart.

If the domain is of the Enumerated type you cannot fill this field.

Domain Type

The category domain type. The category axis data must be placed in the domain.

Domain Type

The name of the set that contains the labels for the category axis. This set should have been defined in the Sets (ttchm3106s000) session. You only must enter a value in this field if the domain is of the enumerated type.

Domain Type

The type of data domain II. The axis data must lie in this domain.

Domain Type

The name of the set that contains the labels for the data axis II. This set should have been defined in the Sets (ttchm3106s000) session. Fill in this field if the domain is of the Enumerated type.

Label

The title of the category domain.

Label

The title of the data domain II.

Unit Label

The measure, quantity, or physical quantity adopted for the category domain.

Unit Label

The measure, quantity, or physical quantity adopted as unit for the data domain II.

Range

The start value of the domain.

This value depends on the domain type which is selected in the Domain Type field. If the type is Enumerated you must fill in the number of the first label to be assigned. This number is usually number one. If the type is Real or Integer, you must fill in a number.

Range

The last value in the range of category domains.

This value depends on the domain type which is selected in the Domain Type field. If the type is Enumerated, you must fill in the number of the last label to be assigned. If the type is Real or Integer, you must fill in a number.

Range

The start value of the domain.

This value depends on the domain type which is selected in the Data II Domain Type field. If the type is Enumerated you must fill in the number of the first label to be assigned which is usually number 1. If the type is Real or Integer, you must fill in a number.

Range

The end value of the domain.

This value depends on the domain type which is selected in the Data II Domain Type field.

Datapoints Set

The name of the set of data points.

In a graph with multiple data points for each category you can define a set of labels for the data points in the Sets (ttchm3106s000) session. The name of the set must be entered in this field. The labels that are defined are the names of the data points and are used in the legend, as subtitles of pies, or when you fill in the data.
