HiLo Marks (ttchm2145s000)

Use this session to define HiLo marks. HiLo marks mark specific data points.

You can define a HiLo mark for each data point in a bar graph. HiLo marks are symbols, placed in a graph, which indicate where in a category a specific data point is located. Such symbols are frequently used in graphs with multiple data points for each category, in order to indicate each individual data point.

The symbols are placed to the right of each data point. The description or the number appears in the legend next to the symbol. If the legend is not large enough to accommodate the descriptions, you must adjust its size in the Legend (ttchm2170s000) session.

Example

You can use HiLo marks to create HiLo OpenClose charts. These are used to graphically represent stock exchange quotations. The bars in this chart are drawn between the lowest and the highest values. The HiLo symbols indicate the opening and closing values.
