Graph Series (ttchm2140s000)

Use this session to set the attributes of series. A series is a number of data points that are linked graphically by means of a line, a number of symbols, bars, or a combinations of these.

You can select the components of which the graph will be made up: bars, a line, symbols or a combination of these. Use the second to the fifth forms to select the components and define the associated attributes.

These attributes determine what the chart will look like. As a chart may contain more than one graph, they must be set for each series. In this session you can create up to 25 records. How many of these are actually used depends on the number of data series in Chart Data (ttchm3100s000) session.

Use the Hilo Marks command to mark specific data points.

Field Information

Serial Number

The sequence number of the graph series.

Projections

The projection sequence number. This number indicates the projection area in which the series must be drawn. If the chart has only one projection area, the same value is displayed for all records. The first projection area, which is the area in front of the first projection line, has the lowest number.

The current projection points can be found in the Projections (ttchm3150s000) session on the Data menu.

Show Label

If this check box is selected, the name or the value of the data points are visible. Other data label attributes are defined in the Graphs (ttchm2120s000) session on the Attributes menu of the Chart Manager.

Number of Datapoints

The number of data points (measuring points) by category. If there is more than one data point by category the Datapoint Placement field will be filled automatically as in that case only one choice is possible.

Datapoint Placement

The position of the data points from this series in relation to the data points from the previous series.

Note: If there is more than one data point for each category the normal representation is shown. Adding data points of different graphs is not useful, because it is not clear which of the data points must be added.
