Axis (ttchm2130s000)

Use this session to set the attributes of axes.

Field Information

Axis

The axis for which you are about to set the attributes.

Note: The series, category, and data axis are always necessary to draw a graph.

Minor Divisions

The number of subdivisions in which each major division must be divided.

Show

Axis: If this check box is selected, this axis is visible on the chart.
Ticks: If this check box is selected, major divisions and subdivisions along the axis must be selected by dashes.
Title: If this check box is selected, the axis title is visible. The title content for each axis is defined in the Chart Titles (ttchm3160s000) session on the Data menu of the Chart Manager.
Labels: If this check box is selected, the major division labels are visible. Labels are defined in the Sets (ttchm3106s000) session.
Unit Label: If this check box is selected, the unit label is visible. The unit label describes the measure, quantity, or physical quantity for categories, data, or series. The unit label is defined in the Sets (ttchm3106s000) session on the Data menu of the Chart Manager.
Grid Lines: If this check box is selected, Chart Manager draws a grid of lines at right angles to the axis and to each other. Grid lines are drawn at major divisions.

Color

Fonts

Title: The font of the axis title. Fonts are defined in the Fonts (ttchm2199s000) session on the Options menu of the Chart Manager.
Unit Label: The font for the unit label. Fonts are defined in the Fonts (ttchm2199s000) session on the Options menu of the Chart Manager.

Alignment

Title: The position of the axis title with respect to the axis. The title is always placed outside the axes system, at the start, end, or center of the axis.
Labels: The position of labels with respect to major division ticks. Labels can be placed in front of, at the center of, or behind ticks.
Unit Label: The position of the unit label.
