Graphs (ttchm2120s000)

To set graph attributes.

The type of graph (line, bar or symbol graph) is determined in the Graph Series (ttchm2140s000) session.

A graph is drawn in a graph box and can be rotated or drawn in another dimension. You can define the dimensions and the layout of this box on the second screen. Use the Axis (ttchm2130s000) session to define the axes.

Field Information

Direction

The direction of the graph.

Labels

The color of data labels. The data label contains the value or the name of the data point, depending on the Label Type field. The data label is placed near the data point. Use the Graph Series (ttchm2140s000) session to indicate whether data labels must be visible or not.

Foreground

The color for the outline of the planes.

Dimension

Select the value to indicate whether the graph will be two or three dimensional. In case of a 3-D graph you also must enter the depth because the bottom and side plane are used as well.

Background

The graph's background color.

Scale

If the box is divided into rows and columns, the scale of the graph is a percentage of the graph box or of a box section. Enter a value between one and hundred.

Primary Grid

The color of the grid lines of the data I axis, the category, and the series axis.

Depth

The depth of a 3-D graph as a percentage of the box size. Enter a value between one and hundred.

Secondary Grid

The color of the grid lines that are associated with the data axis II.

Thickness

The thickness of 3-D planes, the bottom and side planes, and the length of the ticks. Enter a value between one and hundred.

Thickness

The thickness of the bars in a 3-D graph as a percentage of the width of one division of the series axis.

Back Plane

If this check box is selected, Tools draws a background to the 2-D graph and the 3-D graph.

Bar Width

The width of the bars in the graph as a percentage of the width of one division of the category axis.

Side Plane

If this check box is selected, Tools draws a side plane in 3-D graphs.

Bar Overlap

The overlap percentage of bars. This is only relevant if two or more bar graphs are drawn in one coordinate system. In 3-D diagrams, the bar graphs are always fully replaced.

Bottom Plane

If this check box is selected, Tools draws a bottom plane 3-D graphs.

Label Font

The font for the data labels. Fonts are defined in the Fonts (ttchm2199s000) session on the Options menu of the Chart Manager.

The data label contains the value or the name of the data point, which depends on the value that you selected in the Label Type field.

The data label is placed near the data point. Use the Graph Series (ttchm2140s000) session to indicate if data labels must be visible or not.

Label Type

The type of content of data labels. Data labels can contain the value or the name of data points. They are placed near the data points. Use the Graph Series (ttchm2140s000) session to indicate whether data labels must be visible or not.

Border

Select the border color of the graph box.

Background

Select the background color of the graph box.

Width

The width of the graph box as a percentage of the window width.

Height

The height of the graph box as a percentage of the window height.

Left Margin

The left margin as percentage of the width of the graph box. Widening or narrowing the margins causes the diagram to be drawn to a different scale.

Right Margin

The right margin as a percentage of the width of the graph box. Widening or narrowing the margins causes the diagram to be drawn to a different scale.

Top Margin

The top margin as a percentage of the height of the graph box. Widening or narrowing the margins causes the diagram to be drawn to a different scale.

Bottom Margin

The bottom margin as a percentage of the width of the graph box. Widening or narrowing the margins causes the diagram to be drawn to a different scale.
