Define Sort Order (ttadv9193m001)

Use this session to specify a sort order for a filter. When you apply the filter to the overview session, the filtered records display in the grid according to your sort order.

Note: It is only allowed to add fields that belong to the main table of the session and that are present on the session / form.

For every field that you select for your sort order, you can select an ascending or a descending sort order.

Tools orders the records in overview session's grid according to the first field you select for the sort order.

If you select a second field for your sort order, Tools orders the records that have the same value for the first field according to the second field you select for your sort order.

You can select a third, fourth and fifth field for you sort order, by which Tools will sort records that have identical values for the first two, three, and four fields of your sort order respectively.

Field Information

Field Name

The field on which Tools sorts the records.

For every field that you select, you can select an ascending or a descending sort order.

If you select more than one field to sort the records on, Tools sorts the records in the order of the first field and within that list, in the order of the second field, and so on.

Order

The order in which Tools displays the filtered records.
