Delete or Expire Unused Software Components (ttadv6225m000)

Use this session to delete a range of software components that are not used in an application. You can delete the software components per package VRC. You can delete these software components:

  • Labels
  • Messages
  • Questions
  • Domains
  • Help text codes

Alternatively, you can set the unused components to expired.

The software components can be deleted per language code. You also can perform these actions:

  • Copy the software components to another VRC before they are deleted.
  • Print the unrelated software components.

Delete Unused Software Components

If this check box is selected, the software components are deleted.

Note: If you select the Copy to other VRC before delete/expire check box, the software components are transferred to the package VRC you have specified in the VRC field.
Expire Unused Software Components

If this check box is selected, the software components are set to expired.

Note: If you select the Copy to other VRC before delete/expire check box, the software components are transferred to the package VRC you have specified in the VRC field.
Copy to other VRC before delete/expire

If this check box is selected, the software components are transferred to the package VRC you have specified in the VRC field.

VRC

If you select the Copy to other VRC before delete/expire check box, the software components are transferred to the VRC that you specify in this field.

If this check box is selected, and the Delete Unused Software Components check box is cleared, the unused software components are printed.

If this check box is selected, and the Delete Unused Software Components check box is selected, the unused software components are deleted and are printed in the process report.

Note: If you select the Copy to other VRC before delete/expire check box, the software components are transferred to the package VRC you have specified in the VRC field.
Labels

If this check box is selected, you can specify the labels that must be deleted, copied, or printed.

Messages

If this check box is selected, you can specify the messages that must be deleted, copied, or printed.

Questions

If this check box is selected, you can specify the questions that must be deleted, copied, or printed.

Domains

If this check box is selected, you can specify the domains that must be deleted, copied, or printed.

Help Text Codes

If this check box is selected, you can specify the help topics that must be deleted, copied, or printed.
