Rename Scope (ttadv5506m100)

Use this session to specify the scope (boundaries) within which the rename action must be performed for the rename set. The scope can be specified as a complete package or as specific modules.

This session can be started from the Copy and Rename 4GL Components Set (ttadv5500m100) session.

Field Information

Rename Set: The rename set for which you specify the scope.
Target Package: The target package in which the renaming is performed.
All Modules: If this check box is selected, the renaming is performed in all modules of the package.
Module: The module in which the renaming is performed.
Version: The scope's package VRC.
SCM: Indicates whether SCM (version control) is enabled for the package VRC.
Note: We recommend enabling SCM, so that rename actions can be reverted. SCM-enabled components include sessions/forms, reports, menus, program scripts/DLL’s, functions, tables and additional files.
