Form Descriptions and Layouts (ttadv3108m000)
Use this session to maintain the form descriptions and layouts.
Form layouts can contain such diverse elements as special fields, data fields, label fields, and plain text. Layouts without any plain text require no specific translation effort except for the translation and validation of the associated labels.
Form descriptions serve as the titles for forms. Especially if a session has more than one form, each form can have its own specific title. All form descriptions are visible to the end user in the Web Help and in printed documentation.
To maintain form layouts:
- Select the appropriate language, package VRC, and form.
- Choose on the appropriate menu to start form layout's editor.
To maintain form descriptions:
- Select the appropriate language, package VRC, and form.
- Select the form description that you want to maintain, and modify the text.
Note: If the form layout has not been modified, it is quicker to exit without saving. Changes in label text have already been saved in the label file. However, the label attributes are stored in the layout.
