Import Personalizations (ttaad7202m000)

Use this session to import the miscellaneous types of configuration data as exported by the Export Personalizations (ttaad7201m000) session.

The source of the import can be an exported output file or stored additional file. For each data type that is present in the source file, you can select the full range or a specific range to import.

This session is of the wizard type. The session provides assistance to the user. If no specific range is selected, this session contains only one dialog box. For a personalization type of data, you can select a specific range, and additional dialog boxes are displayed with the selection options. The Next, Previous, and Finish buttons navigate you through the process. These buttons are enabled or disabled according to the Specific selection on the startup dialog box. The selection options can differ for each type.

Click Finish to start the actual import process.

Any errors that occur or information about records during the import process are printed on the Configuration Data Error report (ttaad720111000). The last printed line on the report informs the user whether the import has succeeded or failed. In LN UI the report, by default, is printed on screen.

A specific import for a session/person/company/role only deletes data if this actual data is present in the export file.

The Add to Job option is available in this session. Existing output files in the job Export Personalizations are overwritten.
