Check and Delete Superfluous Physical Tables (ttaad4234m000)

Selection

Specify the range of companies, packages, and tables for which you want to check for or delete superfluous tables.

Database(s)

The database(s) in which the superfluous tables are checked and deleted.

Select

Shows a list of databases in your environment. Select one or more databases in which the superfluous tables must be checked.

This button is not available in case only one database is connected to your environment.

Checks

Superfluous Logical Tables

Select this check box to find physical tables that still exist after the corresponding tables were changed to logical tables.

Superfluous Expired Tables

Select this check box to find physical tables that still exist after the corresponding table definition expired.

Superfluous Multi Language Enabled Tables

When a table is no longer multi-language enabled but still physically exists as a multi-language enabled table, the environment contains a superfluous physical table.

Select this check box to find these superfluous tables.

Superfluous Workflow Tables

When a table is no longer a workflow table but still physically exists as one, the environment contains a superfluous physical table.

Select this check box to find these superfluous tables.

Tables without Company Record

Select this check box to find physical tables that still exist after the corresponding company was removed.

Note: If you select this check box and you specified a wide range of companies, the session can take a long time to run.

Options

Delete found Superfluous Tables

If this check box is selected, the session prints a report of the superfluous tables and removes those tables.

If this check box is cleared, the session only prints a report of the superfluous tables.

Note: Use this check box with care. First print a report and review the reported superfluous tables. Delete the tables only after you have verified the report.
