Report Templates (ttaad3530m000)

Use this session to link the report templates, which are defined on the Business Objects Enterprise server, to a Business Objects Enterprise device.

Report templates contain settings to enrich the layout of standard LN reports, such as fonts, logos, and charts. When you print an LN report to a Business Objects Enterprise device, Business Objects Enterprise adds these additional settings to the standard LN report layout.

Usually various report templates are linked to each Business Objects Enterprise device.

To link report templates to a device, on the appropriate menu, click Copy Templates... .

When you print a report to Business Objects Enterprise, you can select the desired report template:

If you send the report to a Business Objects Enterprise printer device, you can select the template in the Printer tab of the Select Device (ttstpsplopen ) session.
If you send the report to a Business Objects Enterprise file device, you can select the template in the File tab of the Select Device (ttstpsplopen ) session.

Actions

These options are available:

Copy Templates: Use this command to link the report templates that are defined on the Business Objects Enterprise server to the selected device.
To make sure that the list of templates is up to date, you must run this command each time templates are added or removed on the Business Objects Enterprise server.

Field Information

Device: The code of the Business Objects Enterprise device to which the report templates are linked.
Template Code: The code of the report template. This field is read-only.
