Change Paper Type of Printer (ttaad3102m000)

Use this session to change the paper type for physical printers when the user changes the paper in a printer, for example from A3 to A4.

To change the paper type of a printer:

select the required printer in the grid and click Change Paper on the appropriate menu.
The session is started. The printer daemon automatically changes the device status to Down.
Change the paper sheets in the printer.
Enter the new paper type in the session and click OK.
A message appears asking if you have loaded the new paper type in the printer. If you answer Yes, the device status is automatically changed to Up.

Note:

You can only change the paper type for devices of Printer (Unix printers that are managed by the printer daemon).

When the device status is Down, the printer daemon does not handle the print jobs in the queue for this printer.

A message appears on your screen when the printer daemon is not active.

If you have started this session by zooming, you can only find and select a record.
