Binary Table Fields (ttaad2142m000)

Use this session to indicate for which table fields the domain may be replaced by the raw domain.

To indicate that the domain of a table field may be replaced by the raw domain, select the Active check box for that field.

To activate the changes in the runtime data dictionary, on the appropriate menu, select Create Runtime.

Actions/Buttons

These options are available:

Set Active: Use this command to indicate whether the status of the Active field must become active.
Note: After running this command, you must run the Create Runtime command.
Reset Active: Use this command to reset the Active field to not active.
Create Runtime: Starts the session.
Always restart the bshell to actualize the changes!

Table

The table's package code, module code, and identification code.

Field Name

The field name and the description of the field.

Available

This check box shows the current runtime state of the field.

If this check box is selected, the field is currently available as raw.

If this check box is cleared, the field is currently not available as raw.

Active

This field is set to Active, the table field's domain will be replaced with the raw domain.

Usually, this field is changed only once, from not active to active. A switch is only possible as long as the changes are not converted to runtime.

Note: After running this command, you must run the Create Runtime command.
