Check and Continue Publishing (tlbct5200m000)

Use this session to check the status of event publishing services.

In this session, you can check the current status of all available event publishing services (also referred to as publishers). The check returns warnings for all services that were restarted after failure.

Note: To enable notification if a publisher gets status Error or Interrupted and to avoid large backlogs from interrupted publishers, you are strongly advised to run this session in a regular job.

You start this session from Specific menu of the Event Subscriptions (tlbct5500m000) session.

This button is available:

Check
Checks the status of all available event publishing services.

The check reports which services run properly and which are automatically continued after something went wrong.

LN automatically restarts services after a fatal error occurred in the service process or the service was interrupted by an external factor, such as the termination of the bshell that runs the service. Publishing services explicitly paused by a user are not automatically continued.

The Check command returns warnings for all continued publishers.

If the Publish Warnings option is selected, the Check command publishes a warning message for all continued publishers.

Field Information

Publish Warnings

If this check box is selected, warnings are published as event messages.

The check on the publishers publishes a warning message when a publisher is automatically continued after an error has occurred (status Error) or the service has been interrupted (status Interrupted). These messages are helpful if the session runs in job mode.

The warning messages will be sent to an error handling bus component or a log file when you use the Infor Integration 6.2 infrastructure.
