Linking multiple package combinations to an OCM deployment
You can link multiple package combinations to an OCM deployment. This way, you can have multiple ‘OCM enabled’ package combinations that use the same company or set of companies. If you link a package combination to an OCM deployment, the linked package combination adopts the OCM configuration of the package combination of the deployment.
Note:
You can only link a package combination to a deployment if that package combination meets these requirements:
- Its runtime data dictionary is the same as the runtime data dictionary of the package combination of the deployment.
- Its set of packages is the same as the set of packages of the package combination of the deployment.
- It has no companies attached to it.
- It is not the package combination of the deployment.
To link a package combination to an OCM deployment:
- Start the Deployments by Package Combination (ttocm0111m000) session.
- Select the deployment and, on the appropriate menu, select .
-
The

session is started. In this session, complete these steps:
- Add the package combination to link to the deployment.
- Activate the added package combination. To do so, on the appropriate menu, select .
Note: No extra validation regarding companies and package combination
structures is performed for these cases:
- Adding a new company to a package combination
- Linking a company to another package combination
- Changing the Data Dictionary (DD) of a package combination (MLE, CDF, etc.)
