Office Parameters (ntint0500m000)

Use this session to:

  • View your ERP environment's current (effective) Microsoft Office parameters. The current parameters apply to all companies in your ERP environment.
  • Define a new set of Microsoft Office parameters for your ERP environment.
  • View any Microsoft Office parameters previously defined (and now ineffective) for your ERP environment.

The first line of the overview session's grid displays in the Description field, the date and time you saved the current parameter set's details. Your ERP environment's current parameters are also stored in the last row of the overview session's grid.

To define a new parameter set:

  1. In the overview session double-click the first row of the grid. The details session starts with the values of the current parameter set.
  2. Define the details of your new parameter set.
    • You cannot modify the Effective Date field.
    • By default, the Description field displays the date and time you saved the current parameter set's details. If you do not modify the Description field, your new parameter set's description will be the date and time you saved the current parameter set.
  3. Click Save. Your new parameter set is now your ERP environment's effective parameter set. ERP fills the Effective Date field with the date and time you saved the parameter set. The first row of the overview session's grid displays the date and time you saved your new parameter set. The new parameter set is also stored in the last row of the overview session's grid.

To view in the details session a previously defined parameter set, double-click the parameter set in the overview session. The Effective Date field displays when you defined the parameter set.
