Control Type property

Use this Control Type to display the calculated value as a normal field.

For a Normal field, you must specify the Domain property.

Use this Control Type if the calculated value is a URL and this URL must be embedded in the session.

For a URL Area, use only Expression Type Function.

URL Areas can be displayed only in MMT headers and detail sessions.

Use this Control Type if the calculated value is a file name of a file containing a picture and this picture must be embedded in the session.

For a Picture, use only Expression Type Function.

Pictures can be displayed only in MMT headers and views of overview sessions.

You can use static pictures or dynamic pictures, such as graphs, which you can generate in the Calculate Value hook. In case of static pictures you must make a copy to ${BSE}/tmp. The static pictures are deleted by LN after it is shown.
