Updated standard reports
Standard reports with updated report input fields may cause a runtime error when the input fields of the personalized object no longer match with the input fields of the standard report object. This can happen, for example, in these cases:
- An input field has another domain
- An input field has another depth
Consequently, report personalizations must be recompiled after installation of a new standard report. Recompilation of the personalization realigns the input fields in the personalized object with the newly installed standard report object.
On-premise customers can recompile the report personalizations manually through the option in the Report Personalizations (ttadv9507m000) session.
For cloud customers, after a tenant upgrade, the report personalizations for updated standard reports are automatically recompiled when a user prints the report. In case of errors, the compilation output is stored in the ${BSE}\appdata\log folder.
