Configure the API Gateway LN suite for LN Client Service
The steps in this section ensure that the LN Client Service is ready to serve requests through API Gateway and the Enterprise Connector. This is required for LN Studio to work with Infor OS CE Identity credentials.
As LN UI Administrator:
- Navigate to .
- Ensure the Enable Service check box is selected.
- Switch the Authentication Type field to OAuth 1.0a (ION API).
- Define an Access Key and note it down.
- Define a Secret Key and note it down.
- Confirm the Secret Key.
- Save and exit.
As API Gateway Administrator:
- Sign in to the portal, navigate to the .
- Under Available APIs, navigate to .
- Add a deployment:
- As Deployment Name enter LN Client Service.
- Ensure Use HTTPS is selected.
- Ensure Enable Enterprise Connector is selected and specify the Enterprise Connector Location.
- Ensure Use tenant and identity translation
is selected.
- Tenant ID = infor
- Use this claim as identity for target = Person Identifier
- As Host Name and Port, enter the host name and port of the LN UI server.
- Set Context to webui.
- Under Target Endpoint Security, select OAuth 1.0a with HMAC-SHA256 and enter the credentials from step 4 and 5 of the previous procedure as Access Key and Access Secret.
- Save and and navigate back to Infor LN under Available APIs.
- On the InforLN API Suite screen, you now have two deployment instances.
- Click on the Associate Endpoints link within the newly created LN Client Service deployment instance.
- Use the filter on the Target Endpoint Description field and search for {contains} LN Client Service.
- Select the only resulting Target Endpoint “/” and click the button.
