Updates

There are different situations while updating the features:

• The version and build of the installer differ from the installed one.
• The version and build of the feature differ from the installed one.
• The Installable Unit build differs from the installed one.

This information is written in the InstallableUnit.info file for each feature. When you start the installer, this information is displayed in the Welcome page.

If a feature is installed with Tomcat, the update of the feature always uses Tomcat. If a feature is installed with JBoss, the update of the feature always uses JBoss. We recommend that you use only one web server in one destination. If you really want to use two different web servers, you can install LN UI with Tomcat in one run and then, in a second run, install Connector for Web Services and JBoss in the same destination.
