Loading sources into the Debugger Workbench
- Click the magnifier glass icon. The Select Software Components dialog box is displayed.
-
Specify the selection string in the Selection field. The selection string is a part of the name, or
the entire name, of a component.
For example:
- If you specify tx, all source components in the Extension package are displayed.
- If you specify txess, the generated extension sources for session extensions are displayed.
- If you specify su, all names starting with “su”, such as “support.2400” for an Exchange batch, are displayed.
The component name should start with a package code. If the first two characters do not specify a valid package, then only components that have no package name are found. Examples of such components are document types, Exchange batches, and report rules. For example, if you specify “x”, then the search does not find components of package tx. Instead, only document types, Exchange batches, and report rules with an “x” in the name are found. - If you are an Infor Support employee, click Sign on in the toolbar in the Select Software Components dialog box, or press Ctrl + F10. This gives you access to all the components you are authorized for. Employees can ask for an authorization level. By default everybody has authorization level “Extensions”.
-
Optionally, to personalize the search, click the Settings icon and select Personalize Selection. The Software Component
Selection Criteria dialog box is displayed. Here you can perform
these actions:
- Select the component types that must be included in the search.
- Specify the maximum number of components per type.
- Specify whether to search on Component Name or Component Description for a given package.
- Click OK.
-
Select one or more components in the Select Software
Components dialog box and click OK.
Note: If you select an extension for which no activity is selected and this extension is not active, then it cannot be debugged.
