Database security

To maintain security, the LN MSQL database driver controls user access to the database and database objects.

The LN database administrator (DBA) module allows the DBA to control access to the database using LN sessions. Using the DBA module offers DBA tasks which are less prone to errors than directly using database driver tools. First is discussed how issues that are related to database security are handled by the LN MSQL database driver. Then the DBA module is briefly described.
