Configuring the Connector for Web Services in on-premises mode
The connector is used to run web services that expose BDE or BOI business objects implemented on Infor LN or Baan application servers.
To configure the Connector for Web Services in on-premises mode, you must use several configuration pages.
The configuration of the Connector for Web Services includes:
- ERP servers configuration
You must configure the connector to define the connection between the connector and the Infor LN or Baan application servers. These servers, which are referred to as the ERP Servers, host the BDE or BOI business interface implementations for which the connector can provide web services.
For more information, see these sections: .
- Web services deployment
You must configure the connector to deploy a BDE or BOI web service for a specific BDE or BOI business interface.
To perform this configuration:
- Select a BDE or BOI interface from a connected ERP Server.
- Import the WSDL file that defines the web service for this BDE or BOI.
- Deploy the WSDL file to the connector.
For more information, see these sections:
- Advanced settings
From version 10.5.1 some additional settings are available related to OAuth 1.0a authentication, as used in (multi-tenant) cloud installations or in on-premises installations with ION-API.
For more information, see Advanced Settings.
- Logging configuration
The runtime processes of the connector are logged in a log file. To view and set the log configuration, you use the c4ws log configuration page.
For details on logging configuration, see Log configuration.
