Overview

To install and run the Connector for Web Services, your system must fulfill these requirements:

• Java Runtime Environment 1.8.0 or later (Java version 8).
• A web server that supports the Servlet 2.4 specification, such as Apache Tomcat 8.0.21.
• An LN server supported by the Enterprise Server Installer. See the Infor Enterprise Server Installation Guide.
• On this server, a license to access the LN business objects.
• Development tools for generation of client proxies should support SOAP 1.1 and WSDL 1.1.

If you use the Enterprise Server Installer, you do not require a supported Java VM or Web Server, because the setup program installs these components as well. For the platforms supported by this installer, see the Infor Enterprise Server Installation Guide.
