Default File Extensions for File Operations (dmdoc4550m000)
Use this session to view or maintain the default file extensions for each file operation command. A file type can have multiple file extensions associated with it. There can only be one default file extensions for each file operation. Example: You have a file type "text" and it has *.txt, *.doc & *.rtf file extensions associated with it. Now the user can define *.txt as a default option to view files, and *.doc as a default option to edit file. These default options are used by the LN to assign main files for each file operation automatically. To access this, go to Document Revisions (dmdoc1520m000) session. Select the desired revision and click --> Main Files option from the Specific Menu. A new session Assigning Main Files for File Operations (dmdoc4540m001) is displayed. Based on the defaults, you can view the file with respective extension and the selected check-boxes for the respective file operations. If the defaults are defined, user does not require to assign the main files for file operations for each document revision.
