Application personalization
Report Designer - Default font color on report level
In the LN Report Designer, it was already possible to define the used font and font size for the entire report. Now you can also define the font color on report level.
If a specific font color is set for a report field, then that color takes precedence over the report font color.
In the properties panel of the report field, the font color of the report is displayed below the font color of the report field.
If the report font color is not explicitly set, then the value "No Color" is displayed on report level. In that case, the report font color is displayed as "Black" in the properties panel of the report field.
Report Designer - Zoom feature in main designer panel for better visibility
In the LN Report Designer, report personalizations can be converted from the "Columns & Rows" (C&R) mode to the "Exact Positioning" (EP) mode. This EP mode has an accuracy of 0.1 mm or 0.01 inch in positioning fields or objects.
To provide better visibility in EP mode, zoom in and zoom out functionality has been added for the main designer panel.
For reports that are converted to EP mode, the zoom feature is positioned in the top toolbar of the main designer panel. You can re-size the main designer panel within a range of 20% - 500%.
Report Designer - Enable print conditions on a box element
A print condition has been added to the "Box" special field. This way report fields of the "Box" type can be printed conditionally.
Enrichment of the Manage Personalizations session and personalization storage alignment (EDP)
These improvements related to user experience settings have been made:
- Improved management of all user experience settings, such as personalizations for menus,
reports, and sessions, including conditional formats and filters.
Project teams can now simultaneously work on personalizations in different parts of the system and bring that all together in a single role or company.
After combining the user experience settings, for example within the development, or test, environment, you can transfer the settings to an acceptation environment for approval. When all changes have been approved, you can transfer the settings to the production environment within the organization.
- Storage alignment of the user experience settings
This improvement provides a more aligned way of working with all other user experience settings. You can now copy conditional formats and filters to a personalization role, in addition to storage against user, and company, level.
- Session personalization maintenance add-in directly from within the session
Improved options are provided for maintenance of session personalizations on user, role, or company level directly from within the functional session.
There is a subsequent benefit during the creation of a functional improvement in the LN application in its development phase. That is, you can now also use updates in user experience settings as part of the overall solution.
To achieve this, use the personalization role as a vehicle to transfer all changes in user experience settings, including the personalization role itself.
This way you can export and import the solution, including the user experience settings, during the acceptation, or implementation, phase.
Import and export personalizations - job-enabled

Revision control for personalizations
Revision control has been implemented for session personalizations and menu personalizations. This revision control is fully in line with revision control for report personalizations.
The new revision control is organized within three personalization history sessions, which can be started from the Manage Personalizations (ttadv9150m000) session:
