This section provides a brief explanation of the device management-related enhancements.

Document Output Management (DOM) – Print Report Designer Excel output

In the Report Rules (ttrpi2520m100) session, the Excel using Report Designer option has been added to the list in the Render Format field. Now both Report Designer output formats, PDF and Excel, can be distributed through DOM. The option to print Excel files based on IR or MS SSRS has been renamed to Excel using External Reporting.

Document Output Management (DOM) – Digital Signatures

A digital signature can be added to a DOM Document to authenticate the identity of the sender of the document. The signature also ensures that the content of the document is unchanged.

Two options of digital signature are available:

  • In Person

    Documents can only be distributed if they are personally signed by an authorized user.

  • Seal

    Documents can be signed automatically with a seal, which is linked to the document type.
