Job shop production orders

The production order functionality has not changed. But if the Job Shop by Site parameter is set to Active in the Implemented Software Components (tccom0100s000) session, the method of creating a job shop production order has been modified.

Because, for each site, multiple bills of material and routings can be available, they must be selected when creating a production order.

The procedure for manually creating a production order includes these steps:

  1. The site is defaulted based on the user profile.
  2. The item is specified by the user.
  3. The quantity is defaulted from the item order data by site, but can be changed by the user.
  4. The JS-BOM code and its actual revision are defaulted based on the settings of the BOM code, but can be changed by the user..
  5. The routing code and its actual revision are defaulted based on the quantity and the settings of the routing code, but can be changed by the user.

If the production order is created through Enterprise Planning, the most recent revision that is marked for planning is retrieved, both for the BOM and the routing.

To support this functionality, the production master data has been modified.
