 - The status is In Stock.
 - No active inbound, outbound, adjustment, or quarantine
					 process data is defined.

Handling Unit Handling Unit The handling unit code that is used to uniquely identify the handling unit in LN. You can either
manually define handling units in this session or in the Compose Handling Units (whwmd5130m100) session, or generate handling units in various
stages of the inbound and outbound flows. If you manually define a handling
unit in this session, to define the handling unit code you can enter an
alphanumeric code in this field. When generating handling units, LN uses handling unit masks to generate the handling unit IDs. You can define
various handling unit masks to accomplish specific handling unit ID features
such as supplier numbers. During the inbound or outbound flow, LN selects the appropriate
handling unit mask to generate the handling unit IDs. Note - The empty handling units can:
- Be shipped and are not removed automatically from the
						handling unit structure.
 - Contain auxiliary packaging.

  - The empty handling units cannot:
- Contain stock point details.

Version The version number of the handling unit. The initial version
number of version-controlled handling units is 1. After a version-controlled
handling unit is split, it obtains a new version number. Handling units that
are not version-controlled always have version number 0. Handling units for which splitting is
enabled can be defined as version controlled in the Handling Unit Version Controlled field of the Item - Warehousing (whwmd4600m000) session. Item The item that is packed by means of the handling unit. Quantity in Storage Unit The quantity of items expressed in the storage unit. If the handling unit is a parent and one or more child handling
units of the parent are destroyed after inspection, the destroyed quantity is
subtracted from the parent's quantity displayed in this field. Note that if you manually create a
handling unit, you cannot specify the number of items to be packed by means of
the handling units. To pack items by means of a handling unit, you can use the Pack command on the appropriate menu of the Compose Handling Units (whwmd5130m100) session. For further information, see Pack: to generate a handling unit for multiple items. In addition, if handling units are
generated for receipts, shipments, advice, inspections, and order lines, the
handling units contain the number of items specified on the shipment, receipt,
and so on. Status The status of the handling unit. Note If the Empty check box is selected: - The Parent Handling Unit is specified, LN defaults the status of
				  the parent handling unit.
 - The Parent Handling Unit is not specified, the status is
				  set to Inactive.

Parent Handling Unit The parent of the current handling unit. Children Present If this check box is selected, the handling unit has
child handling units. Multi-Item Handling Unit If this check box is selected, the handling unit
contains different items. Empty Indicates if the handling unit is empty. Note Infor LN selects this check box if: - The Multi-Item Handling Unit check box is cleared and the Quantity in Inventory Unit is zero.
 - The Status field is set to Inactive, Staged, Frozen or Shipped.

Handling Unit Mask The handling unit mask on which the handling unit ID is
based. When a handling unit is generated, the handling unit code is generated
as specified in the handling unit mask. Warehouse The handling unit's status determines which warehouse is
displayed in this field: Received The warehouse in which the item must be put
away. Receipt Open The warehouse in which the item must be put
away. Open The warehouse from which the item must be picked. Frozen The warehouse from which the item must be
picked. In Transit The warehouse is retrieved from the inbound-order
line. Shipped No warehouse is specified. Inactive If the handling unit will be used to receive items, the
warehouse in which the item must be put away. If the handling unit will be used
to issue items, the warehouse from which the item must be picked.
Location The handling unit's status determines which location is
displayed in this field: Received The location in which the item must be put
away. Receipt Open The location in which the item must be put
away. Open The location from which the item must be
picked. Frozen The location from which the item must be
picked. In Transit The location is retrieved from the inbound-order
line. Shipped No location is specified. Inactive If the handling unit will be used to receive items, the
location in which the item must be put away. If the handling unit will be used
to issue items, the location from which the item must be picked.
Location The status of the handling unit determines which location is
displayed in this field: Received The location in which the item must be put
Specification If this check box is selected, specifications are present for the items included in the
current handling units. Specification information is available in the fields of
the Demand Peg group box of the details
session. Packaging Reference A The new packaging reference A defined for the handling unit. This reference relates to a distribution zone or routing
code. Packaging Reference B The new packaging reference B defined for the handling unit. This reference relates to a distribution zone or routing
code. Single Reference If this check box is selected, the handling unit is a single reference
handling unit. All the child handling units must also have the same
reference. Note You can view this field only if the Use Contracts for Schedules check box is selected in
the Sales Schedule Parameters (tdsls0100s500) session. Single Packaging Reference A If this check box is selected, the handling unit is a single reference
handling unit. All the child handling units must also have the same
reference. Note You can view this field only if the Use Contracts for Schedules check box is selected in
the Sales Schedule Parameters (tdsls0100s500) session. Single Packaging Reference B If this check box is selected, the handling unit is a single reference
handling unit. All the child handling units must also have the same
reference. Note You can view this field only if the Use Contracts for Schedules check box is selected in
the Sales Schedule Parameters (tdsls0100s500) session. Part Change Tag 1 A notification to the customer of a part change. Part Change Reason 1 The reason why a part change is required. Part Change Tag 2 A notification to the customer of a part change. Allow Multi Stock Point for Shipping If this check box is selected, LN allows multiple stock points for handling units that
are generated during picking or shipping. This field also determines if
multiple stock points are allowed for a handling unit level. Note This value is defaulted from the Handling Unit Templates (whwmd4160m000) session. This check box can only be selected for bottom level
handling units. Label Shipment Label The handling unit ID that can be used at the customer's
location. When the shipment is staged, the handling unit ID is copied from the Handling Unit field, unless the handling unit ID in
the Handling Unit field is based on the internal handling
unit mask. When printing labels for a handling unit for which the Shipment Label field is filled, the shipment label is
printed as handling unit code. Shipment Label Mask The handling unit mask on which the shipment label is based. Inventory Manufacturer The manufacturer of the item contained in the handling unit. LN retrieves the
manufacturer from the order line by means of which the item was originally
received. This field is empty if no manufacturer is specified on the order
line. Manufacturer Part Number The manufacturer part number of the item contained in the
handling unit.. LN retrieves the manufacturer part number from the order line by means of which
the item was originally received. This field is empty if no manufacturer part
number is specified on the order line. Lot The lot to
which the item in the handling unit belongs. Note If you scan a handling unit's label on receipt and the handling unit is specified for the ASN or ASN line in the Shipment Notices (whinh3100m000) session, LN retrieves the lot from the ASN or ASN line. If no lot is
specified on the ASN or no ASN is available for the receipt, LN retrieves the lot
from the Receipt Lines (whinh3112s000) session, if specified. Effectivity Unit The effectivity unit of the item. If you scan a handling unit's label on receipt and the handling unit is specified for the ASN or ASN line in the Shipment Notices (whinh3100m000) session or the Shipment Notice - Lines (whinh3101m000) session, LN retrieves the
effectivity unit from these sessions. If no effectivity unit is specified on
the ASN or no ASN is available for the receipt, LN retrieves the
effectivity unit from the Receipt Lines (whinh3112s000) session, if specified. Inventory Date The inventory date of the handling unit. Note If you scan a handling unit's label on receipt, LN retrieves the inventory date from the Receipt Lines (whinh3112s000) session when the receipt is confirmed. Packaging Quantity of Packaging Items The quantity of the packaging item that is used for the
handling unit. For example, the handling unit has 100 packaging items of type
Box. Asset Tag The asset tag of the handling unit. An asset tag is a serial number that identifies a handling
unit. Label printing is available for asset tags. Note Asset tags are not related to the serial numbers of
serialized items. Labeled If this check box is selected, for each packing item
defined for the handling unit, a label record is created. These labels can be
printed. In this way, each existing packing item is uniquely identified. For
example, if the boxes on a pallet are labeled, each box obtains a label when
handling units are generated for an order for milk cartons. Complete If this check box is selected, the structure of the
handling unit has not changed since the handling unit was received in the
warehouse. If the structure of the handling unit is changed after receipt, this
check box is automatically cleared. Quantity/Weight Composition Quantity in Inventory Unit The item quantity expressed in the inventory unit.
In addition, if handling units are
generated for receipts, shipments, advice, inspections, and order lines, the
handling units contain the number of items specified on the shipment, receipt,
and so on. Inventory Unit The unit of measure in which the inventory of an item is
recorded, such as piece, kilogram, box of 12, or meter. The inventory unit is also used as the base unit in measure
conversions, especially for conversions that concern the order unit and the
price unit on a purchase order or a sales order. These conversions always use
the inventory unit as the base unit. An inventory unit therefore applies to all
item types, also to item types that cannot be kept in stock. Number of Visible Units The visible units of a handling unit are the units that you
can see. For example, if the handling unit is a pallet that contains 12 boxes,
the number of visible units is 12, because you can see units that are placed on
a pallet. If, on the other hand, the handling unit is a container that contains
three pallets, the number of visible units is one, because the only unit that
you can see is the container. In this field, you can manually enter
the number of visible units, but you can also use the Calculate Visible Units command to calculate this
number. The results calculated by this command are inserted in this field,
overwriting any manual insertions. Dimensions Dimensions Fixed If this check box is selected, the dimensions of the
handling unit are fixed. This means, that the dimensions of the handling unit
will not change if items are added to the handling unit. Gross Weight The gross weight of the handling unit. The gross weight is
the weight of all items and their packages in the handling unit. As a result,
the weights of all children and packaging items are included in the handling
unit's gross weight. For further information, see Handling unit dimensions. Net Weight The net weight of the handling unit. The net weight is the
weight of the items without packaging in the handling unit. As a result, the
net weights of all children are included in the net weight of the handling
unit, while the weights of all packaging items in the handling unit are
excluded. For further information, see Handling unit dimensions. Length The length of the handling unit. Width The width of the handling unit. Height The height of the handling unit. Floor Space The surface area of the handling unit. Volume The volume of the handling unit. Process Receipt The receipt by means of which the handling unit is
received. Receipt Line The receipt line by means of which the handling unit is
received. Receipt Line Ownership Sequence The ID number of the ownership record for the receipt line. To view the ownership records of the receipt line
corresponding to the current handling unit, proceed as follows: - In the Warehouse Receipt (whinh3512m000) session, select the relevant receipt line.
 - In the Receipt Lines (whinh3112s000) session that opens, from the appropriate menu, select Ownership.

Inspection The ID number of the inspection that includes the current
handling unit. Inspection Sequence The sequence number of the inspection for the inbound advice
or outbound advice that includes the current handling unit. You can carry out
several inspections for each advice. Each time you have inspected a certain
quantity of items for the advice, a new approval is created for the remaining
quantity to be inspected. The sequence number of the approval depends on the
sequence in which it is created. Quarantine ID The number of the quarantine record that contains the
handling unit. This field is filled when the status changes from To Be Inspected to Quarantine for the handling unit or one of its parents
and a record is created in the Quarantine Inventory Overview (whwmd2171m000) session. Shipping Container The load that contains the handling unit. Shipment The ID number of the shipment in which the handling unit is
shipped. Shipment Line The ID number of the shipment line on which the handling unit
is listed. Shipment Line Ownership Sequence The ID number of the ownership record for the shipment line. To view the ownership records of the shipment line
corresponding to the current handling unit, proceed as follows: - In the Shipments (whinh4130m000) session, select the relevant shipment line.
 - In the Shipment Lines (whinh4131m000) session that opens, on the appropriate menu, select Shipment Line---> Ownership to open the Shipment Line Ownership (whinh4138m000) session.

Fully Blocked If this check box is selected, the entire stock point
is blocked. If this check box is cleared, the stock point is not
blocked or partially blocked. Status Splittable If this check box is selected, the handling unit can be
split up into two or more handling units, for example, as a result of inbound
advice to different locations. Latest Version of Label Printed The latest version of the handling unit for which a label was
printed. If the handling unit is not version-controlled, the value in this
field is 0. Label Layout The code applied for single-item handling units. This label
layout code is linked to handling units when LN generates the
handling units. You can modify the label layout code. To print labels for handling units, LN determines the label
layout in the following priority: Use the label layout defined for the
handling unit Use the label layout defined in the
Warehouse Order Activities Use the label layout defined in the
relevant sessions that triggers the label printing
For each of the priorities listed above, LN searches for the
layout text in the following sequence: - Apply activity-specific layout text from the Label Layout by Activities (whwmd5121m000) session
 - Apply the general layout text from the Label Layouts (whwmd5520m000) session

Note If no label layout code is specified, LN retrieves the label
layout codes defined at warehouse order activity level or warehouse
level. Label Layout The description or name of the code. Multi-Item Label Layout The label layout code applied for multi-item handling units.
This label layout code is linked to handling units when LN generates the
handling units. LN generates only single-item handling units. The composition of multi-item
handling units is a manual process. You can change a single-item handling unit
into a multi-item handling unit. When you change a single-item handling unit
into a multi-item handling unit, often a different label layout is applied. You
can modify the label layout code. LN also allows you to specify the second (mixed)
label layout code in the package definition. The only exception is the lowest
level of the package definition which contains the child level handling units. LN uses the second
label layout when a single-item handling unit, (usually generated by LN) is manually changed
into a mixed-item handling unit. You can change the second label layout code at
handling unit level. For more information, refer to Automatic Labeling of Multi-Item Handling Unit field of
the Warehouses (whwmd2500m000) session. Note If no label layout code is specified, the LN retrieves the label
layout codes defined at warehouse order activity level or warehouse
level. Multi-Item Label Layout The description or name of the code. Rejected If this check box is selected, the handling unit is
rejected. If the rejected inventory functionality is in use, rejected handling
units can be allocated. In such cases, the rejected handling unit would have
the Allocated status. To indicate that the allocated handling
unit is rejected, this check box is selected. Confirmed for Shipping If this check box is selected, the handling unit is
confirmed for shipping. If the Handling Unit Based Confirmation check box is selected
in the Warehousing Order Types (whinh0110m000) session, and all of the handling units of
the shipment line are confirmed for shipping, the shipment line can be
confirmed. If the Confirm Shipment Lines when confirming Handling Units check box is selected in the Warehousing Order Types (whinh0110m000) session, the shipment line that contains the
handling unit is automatically confirmed. If cleared, the linked shipment line
must be manually confirmed. Handling units are confirmed after a successful scan if
the scan-to-verify process is activated or after using the Confirm option on the Execute Outbound submenu of the Handling Units (whwmd5130m000) session. From Handling Unit The handling unit from which the current handling unit is
split off. Ship-From/To Ship-From The ship-from type is used, together with the ship-from code,
to identify the exact source of a warehousing order. The ship-from type can have the following values: - Business Partner
 - Warehouse
 - Work Center
 - Project

Ship-from Code A code used, together with the ship-from type, to identify the
exact source of a warehousing order. Ship-To The ship-to type is used, together with the ship-to code, to
identify where goods are shipped to. The ship-to type can have the following values: - Business Partner
 - Warehouse
 - Work Center
 - Project

Ship-to Code A code used, together with the ship-to type, to identify where
goods are shipped to. Miscellaneous Virtual If this check box is selected, the handling unit is a
dummy handling unit created by a warehousing process to support the consistency
of the handling unit structure for the warehousing process. For example, two boxes, handling unit A
and handling unit B are picked from the stock for the same order line. In the
shipment created for the order, one shipment line is created for the contents
of the two boxes. To provide a link between the two handling units and the
shipment line, a new dummy handling unit is created, which serves as a parent
for these two boxes. This dummy handling unit is marked Virtual and this handling unit appears on the
shipment line. This check box is also selected for bottom-level handling
units generated from a handling unit template whose bottom-level node is set to Virtual Node. User The user account of the user who generated the handling
unit. Reference Reference Note All child handling units are updated with the reference A
when this field is changed. The new reference is validated against the rules
defined at the parent level. This field is derived when the Single Reference is selected on the parent or the
higher handling unit. Last Transaction Date The date and time of the most recent modification of the
handling unit. Version Update Date The date and time of the most recent version
update. Last Counting Date The date and time of the most recent date and time the items
contained in the handling unit were subjected to cycle counting. Text To enter text in this field, press CTRL-T or start the text
editor on the toolbar. Ownership Company Owned Inventory If this check box is selected, the inventory contained
in the handling unit is company owned. Owner The business partner who owns the item(s) contained in the
handling unit. If this field is not filled, your own organization owns the
inventory. If the owner is not the same as the buy-from business partner, the owner is the internal business partner of another enterprise unit such as a division in another country, of your organization. If the
buy-from business partner is the owner, the items are held in not-owned
consignment. This field is empty if the items are company owned. Ownership The Ownership of the goods contained in the handling unit. Company Owned Allowed values - Consigned
 - Customer Owned
 - Not Applicable

Values Consigned and Customer Owned are not applicable if: - In the Item - Warehousing (whwmd4600m000) session, the value of the Registration Level field is unequal to Physical Item or Physical Item and Location.
 - The handling unit contains no items other than packaging items and the Multi-Item Handling Unit check box is cleared, that
is, the handling unit is empty packaging.

Multi-owner handling unit If this check box is selected, the handling unit
contains child handling units belonging to different owners. If the handling
unit contains child handling units that belong to the different owners, the Owner field is empty and Multi-owner handling unit is allowed check box is
selected. Multi-owner handling unit is allowed If this check box is selected, the handling unit can
contains child handling units that belong to different owners. Blocked Blocked for Outbound If this check box is selected, the items contained in
the handling unit are blocked for the outbound flow. Blocked for Transfer (Issue) If this check box is selected, the items contained in
the handling unit are blocked for transfers to other warehouses. Blocked for Cycle Counting If this check box is selected, the items contained in
the handling unit are blocked for cycle counting. Blocked for Assembly If this check box is selected, assembly is not allowed
for the items contained in the handling unit. Specification Demand Peg Allocated to Sold-to Business Partner The sold-to business partner to which the inventory is allocated. LN can use the
inventory specified by this record for the business partner specified by this
				  field; LN does not use
this inventory for any other business partner. Allocated to Ship-to Business Partner Business Object Type The type of order to which the inventory was allocated, such as, Sales Order,
				or Service Order.  Note The following fields are always used in combination;
together, they identify the relevant order or order line: - Business Object Type
 - Business Object
 - Business Object Reference

 Business Object The order,
				or order line, to which the inventory was allocated.  Note The following fields are always used in combination;
together, they identify the relevant order or order line: - Business Object Type
 - Business Object
 - Business Object Reference

Reference A reference code to which the inventory was allocated. LN can use the
inventory specified by this record to fulfill a demand specified by this
reference and for no other purpose. LN can use this field in two ways: - If the Sold-to Business Partner field is filled, LN uses the Reference field to record a reference code defined by
					 a customer.
 - If the Sold-to Business Partner field is empty, LN uses the Reference field to record an internal
					 reference.

You can use a reference code to keep a
collection of parts linked together, even if they follow different routings,
for example, if some of the parts are transported to a subcontractor to be returned later. Derived from Product Variant A unique configuration of a configurable item. The variant
results from the configuration process and includes information such as feature
options, components, and operations. Example Configurable item: electric drill Options: - 3 power sources (batteries, 12 V or 220 V)
 - 2 colors (blue, gray).

A total of 6 product variants can be produced with these
options. Option List ID The identification of the options and features for a configured
item. The ID is used in the item specification to match supply and
demand. The ASN specifications include the option list ID. The ASN specifications are populated from the Inbound Order Lines (whinh2110m000) session. In turn, the specifications on the inbound
order line are populated from the purchase schedule line. For configurable purchased items in Warehousing, only the
option list ID is part of the specifications. This means that inventory is
maintained per option list ID and is the total of inventory of all product
variants with the same option list ID. Note The field is displayed only if the Assembly (APL/ASC/ASL) check box is selected in the Implemented Software Components (tccom0100s000) session. The field is populated only for configurable purchased
items and manufactured assembly (FAS) items.
