| MAUC by Warehouse Valuation Group (whina1534m000)Use this session to view the total item
quantity for the warehouses with: MAUC by warehouse valuation group and enterprise
unit Consequently, for each warehouse valuation group, the MAUC,
MAUH, and total inventory values are determined for the item stored in the warehouses linked to the same
enterprise unit. For example, warehouse valuation group X includes warehouses
A, B, and C. Warehouse A belongs to enterprise unit EU1, warehouses B and C
belong to enterprise unit EU2. The MAUC, MAUH and total inventory values are
determined for (the warehouses of) enterprise units EU1 and EU2. Item The raw materials, subassemblies, finished products, and tools
that can be purchased, stored, manufactured, and sold. An item can also represent a set of items handled as one kit,
or which exist in multiple product variants. You can also define nonphysical items, which are not
retained in inventory but can be used to post costs or to invoice services to
customers. The examples of nonphysical items: - Cost items (for example, electricity)
- Service items
- Subcontracting services
- List items (menus/options)
Warehouse Valuation Group An entity that is used to group warehouses for inventory
valuation purposes. To define a warehouse valuation group, you must link a
warehouse valuation group code to the warehouses that you want to include in
the warehouse valuation group. Warehouse valuation groups and item valuation
groups are linked, for example, to inventory valuation methods to valuate the
item-warehouse combinations included in the warehouse and item valuation
groups. Enterprise Unit The enterprise unit for which the MAUC, MAUH, and total inventory values are
determined. Project The code of the project to which the item is linked. Note You can view this field only if the Project Pegging check box is selected in the Implemented Software Components (tccom0100s000) session. Inventory The total inventory of the warehouses in the warehouse
valuation group for which the inventory valuation of the item is set to Valuation by Warehouse Valuation Group. Note - Consignment inventory or
rejected inventory is not considered.
- Inventory can be negative.
- If standard costs are determined per enterprise unit, this
field displays the total inventory of the warehouses belonging to the
enterprise unit displayed in the Enterprise Unit field.
Inventory Unit The unit of measure in which the inventory of an item is
recorded, such as piece, kilogram, box of 12, or meter. The inventory unit is also used as the base unit in measure
conversions, especially for conversions that concern the order unit and the
price unit on a purchase order or a sales order. These conversions always use
the inventory unit as the base unit. An inventory unit therefore applies to all
item types, also to item types that cannot be kept in stock. MAUC The moving-average unit cost (MAUC) of the
inventory. Note If standard costs are determined per enterprise unit, this
field displays the total inventory of the warehouses belonging to the
enterprise unit displayed in the Enterprise Unit field. Inventory Value The inventory value of the received quantity expressed in the home currency. For single, dependent and standard currency systems, the
inventory value of the received quantity is expressed in the local currency. Inventory Value = Inventory * MAUC (moving-average unit cost) Note If standard costs are determined per enterprise unit, this
field displays the total inventory value of the warehouses belonging to the
enterprise unit displayed in the Enterprise Unit field. The inventory value is
expressed in the home currency of the enterprise unit. MAUH The moving average unit hours (MAUH) of the inventory for a
warehouse valuation group. Note You can view this field only if the Show Hours in Costing check box is selected in the Implemented Software Components (tccom0100s000) session. If standard costs are determined per enterprise unit,
this field displays the total MAUH of the warehouses belonging to the
enterprise unit displayed in the Enterprise Unit field.
Inventory Hours The current number of hours in inventory based on MAUH for each
warehouse valuation group. Inventory hours=Inventory * MAUH Note You can view this field if the Show Hours in Costing check box is selected in the Implemented Software Components (tccom0100s000) session. If standard costs are determined per enterprise unit,
this field displays the total inventory hours of the warehouses belonging to
the enterprise unit displayed in the Enterprise Unit field. The inventory value is
expressed in the home currency of the enterprise unit.
