To use distributed amounts

Use the Top Down Budget Data (tpptc5110s000) session to distribute amounts by cost type from a version to a selected activity. The session displays the current undistributed amount and remaining amount before you enter the activity amounts. After the amounts are entered the new undistributed amount and remaining amount are displayed. Only the changes in the distributed amounts are stored. This means that data for a certain version can be derived from a previous version. You can distribute amounts only to the current version if the status of the current version is Free or Actual and the project status is Free or Active. If the activity data is associated with a different version, you are prompted to copy the data to the current version.

Distributed budget

For example,:

[...]

If you look at A the undistributed amount is 300 : A - B - C = 300, the remaining amount for A = the undistributed version amount = contract amount - profit fee - management reserve - distributed budget If you look at B the undistributed amount depends on its child elements and the remaining budget is the undistributed amount of its parent in this case 300.

When distributing a certain amount to an activity, the amount cannot be higher than the amount of the parent activity. The amount cannot be lower than the total amount distributed to the child elements.
