Table Sharing Sets (tltsm1115m009)Use this session to to maintain table sharing sets. Package combination The companies that share tables of a table set must belong to the same package combination as the table set. Verification To verify the table sets of a table sharing set for a particular logical company, click Verify Shared Logical Tables on the appropriate menu. To view the results of a previous verification action, click Table Sharing Exceptions on the appropriate menu. To approve the table sharing set for actual use, enter the value Approved in the Status field. Multicompany environment If you enter a multicompany environment in the Multi Company Environment field, you can only use logical companies linked to that multicompany environment and the Make Table Sharing Set Actual command will be limited to those companies. If you leave the Multi Company Environment field empty, all companies can be used and the table sharing of all companies can be replaced. Make the table sharing set actual Caution! If you make the table sharing set actual, you will replace your system's logical table-linking configuration for the companies within the multicompany environment. This can seriously disrupt your entire LN installation if the table sharing set is not properly set up. Before you can make the table sharing set actual, you must perform the following steps:
To make the data in the Logical Tables (ttaad4120m000) session equal to the table sharing defined in the table sharing set, click Make Table Sharing Set Actual on the appropriate menu. Table Sharing Set The table sharing set. Description Description of the table sharing set. Status A table sharing set's status determines what you can do with the table sharing set. Allowed values Last Change Date The date and time when the table sharing set was last changed and saved. Log Name The user that performed the most recent change. Multi Company Environment The table sharing set's multicompany environment. This field is optional. Verified If this check box is selected, the table sharing set (in its current composition) has been verified by using the Verify Shared Logical Tables command. Actual If this check box is selected, the table sharing set has been made actual. Actual in Next Package Combination If this check box is selected, the table sharing set is made actual when the companies involved in the table sharing are moved to the package combination that is defined in the table sharing set.
Verify Shared Logical Tables Verifies each of the tables sets in the table sharing set for references to tables which are not shared. Copy to Next Package Combination Use this command to copy a table sharing set to another package combination. This command starts the Select Package Combination (tltsm0250m000) session. In this session, you can select the new package combination. After selecting the package combination, the table sharing set is copied to a new version. In this version, the package combination is set to the new package combination. When this table sharing set is made actual through the Make Table Sharing Set Actual action, the Actual in Next Package Combination check box is selected. Table Sharing Exceptions Starts the Table Sharing Exceptions (tltsm2100m000) session. Make Table Sharing Set Actual Starts the Make Table Sharing Set Actual (tltsm0210m000) session.
