Subcontracting Model (tisub1600m000)Use this session to view and manage data related to the subcontracting of manufactured items. Data from the following sessions is displayed:
Product The subcontracted item. Revision The revision ID. BOM Quantity The number of manufactured products to which a bill of materials (BOM) applies. The BOM quantity enables you to specify very small product quantities as BOM components. Example You need very small amounts of certain colors to mix one liter of a specific paint, Cotton White. Therefore, a BOM quantity of 1000 liter is defined. The component quantities for the paint can then be as follows:
Effective Date The date and time on which the subcontracting takes effect. Expiry Date The date from which a record or a setting is no longer valid. The expiry date often includes the expiry time. Subcontractor A business partner that is hired to perform certain services, such as the execution of a part of a project or production order. The services are delivered via a purchase order. Ship-from Business Partner The business partner who ships the subcontracted part. Subcontracting Purchase Price The purchase price of a subcontracted item, expressed in the purchase currency. Currency The currency in which the purchase price is expressed. Unit Units used to express measurements. The unit can be user-defined or selected from the list of units in Common. Subcontractor Warehouse The external warehouse to which materials are delivered. Lead Time The production time of an item expressed in hours or days, based on the lead time elements as defined in the routing operations. Use for Costing If this check box is selected, the subcontracting model is enabled for costing, and for use in the calculation of the standard cost of a subcontracting item. Use for Planning If this check box is selected, the subcontracting model product is critical in planning. Status The status of the subcontracting model. Allowed values
