Initiate Inventory Issue (tisfc0207m000)

Use this session to issue material from inventory, in other words, to activate a warehouse order line. Issuing from inventory is based on the quantity of material you entered in the To Issue field in the Material to Issue for Production Orders (ticst0101m100) session.

Site

A business location of an enterprise that can maintain its own logistical data. It includes a collection of warehouses, departments and assembly lines at the same location. Sites are used to model the supply chain in a multisite environment.

These restrictions apply to sites:

  • A site cannot cross countries. The warehouses and departments of the site must be in the same country as the site.
  • A site is linked to one planning cluster. Consequently, all warehouses and work centers of a site must belong to the same planning cluster.
  • A site is linked to one logistic company.

You can link a site to an enterprise unit or an enterprise unit to a site.

If an enterprise unit is linked to a site, the entities of the site belong to the enterprise unit. Conversely, if a site is linked to an enterprise unit, the entities of the enterprise unit belong to the site.

Operation

The operation(s) for which you want to initiate inventory issue.

Note

If the selection method is All Operations, you cannot enter an operation in this field.

To Date/Time

The date until material is issued. The operations that are carried out after the date and time specified in this field will not have their inventory issued.

Issue Sequence

The sequence in which LN issues material from inventory for production orders:

  • Based on Start Dates
  • Based on Order Numbers
Process Serial-in-Inventory according to As-Built

If this check box is selected, material issue is initiated for the quantity in the To Issue field in the Material to Issue for Production Orders (ticst0101m100) session.

Process Serial-in-Inventory not registered in As-Built

If this check box is selected, material issue is initiated for quantities in both the To Issue, and Subsequent Delivery fields in the Material to Issue for Production Orders (ticst0101m100) session.
