Site

A business location of an enterprise that can maintain its own logistical data. It includes a collection of warehouses, departments and assembly lines at the same location. Sites are used to model the supply chain in a multisite environment.

These restrictions apply to sites:

  • A site cannot cross countries. The warehouses and departments of the site must be in the same country as the site.
  • A site is linked to one planning cluster. Consequently, all warehouses and work centers of a site must belong to the same planning cluster.
  • A site is linked to one logistic company.

You can link a site to an enterprise unit or an enterprise unit to a site.

If an enterprise unit is linked to a site, the entities of the site belong to the enterprise unit. Conversely, if a site is linked to an enterprise unit, the entities of the enterprise unit belong to the site.

Simulation

If this check box is selected, LN does not actually remove the production orders. If this check box is cleared, LN only prints a list of production orders that are candidates to be deleted or canceled.

If this check box is selected, does not print which production orders are candidates to be set to completed, because LN cannot simulate the completion process.

Delete

If this check box is selected, this session deletes the selected production orders that have not yet been released. Production orders that have not yet been released have one of the following production order statuses: Planned, Scheduled, or Documents Printed.

Cancel

If this check box is selected, this session cancels the selected production orders that have the production order status: Released.

Return issued Materials

If this check box is selected, this sessions attempts to return any materials that have been issued from the warehouse for the selected production orders that could not be deleted or canceled.

This option has no effect on materials for which backflushing applies.

A production order of which the production order status is Active cannot be deleted or canceled.

Complete remaining Orders

If this check box is selected, and the production order status of some of the selected production orders already is Active, this session sets the production order status of these production orders to Completed.

This action sets the quantity to issue for these production orders' materials and the quantity to deliver for these production orders'main items to zero.

Update priority remaining Orders
