Setting up a microrouting

In the Routing module, you can define operation steps for a microrouting and link instructions, tools, or process variables to the operation steps.

Note

To use this functionality the Job Shop by Site parameter in the Implemented Software Components (tccom0100s000) session must be set to Inactive.

Instructions

To link instructions to an operation step:

  1. Define instructions in the Instructions (tirou0106m000) session.
  2. Select a routing operation in the Routing Operations (tirou1102m000) session.
  3. Click Operation Steps on the appropriate menu to link operation steps to the operation in the Operation Steps (tirou1105m000) session.

  5. Click Instructions on the appropriate menu to link instructions to the operation step in the Operation (Step) - Instructions (tirou1112m000) session.
Note

If you want to link instructions directly to the routing operation, on the appropriate menu of the Routing Operations (tirou1102m000) session, click Instructions. As a result, the Operation (Step) - Instructions (tirou1112m000) session starts in which you can link instructions to the operation.

Tools

To link tools to an operation step:

  1. Define tools in the Tools Requirement Planning module.
  2. If the tools belong to a specific machine, you can link default tools to a machine in the Machine - Tools (tirou0110m000) session.
  3. If you defined a task relationship in the Task Relationships (tirou0104m000) session, you can link the tools to the task relationship in the Task Relationship - Tools (tirou0115m000) session.
  4. Select a routing operation in the Routing Operations (tirou1102m000) session.
  5. Click Operation Steps on the appropriate menu, to link operation steps to the operation in the Operation Steps (tirou1105m000) session.

Note
  • If you want to link tools directly to the routing operation, on the appropriate menu of the Routing Operations (tirou1102m000) session, click Tools. As a result, the Operation (Step) - Tools (tirou1110m000) session starts in which you can link tools to the operation.
  • You can also use the Operation (Step) - Tools (tirou1110m000) session to define additional default tools information for an actual production order's operation, as present in the Estimated Tool Requirements (titrp0111m000) session.
Process variables
