| Setting up a microroutingIn the Routing module, you can
define operation steps for a microrouting and link
instructions, tools, or process variables to the operation steps. Note To use this functionality the Job Shop by Site parameter in the Implemented Software Components (tccom0100s000) session must be set to Inactive. Instructions To link instructions to an operation step: - Define instructions in
the Instructions (tirou0106m000) session.
- Select a routing
operation in the Routing Operations (tirou1102m000) session.
- Click Operation Steps on
the appropriate menu to
link operation steps to the operation in the Operation Steps (tirou1105m000) session.
- Select an operation step in the Operation Steps (tirou1105m000) session.
- Click Instructions on the appropriate menu to link
instructions to the operation step in the Operation (Step) - Instructions (tirou1112m000) session.
Note If you want to link
instructions directly to the routing operation, on the appropriate menu of the Routing Operations (tirou1102m000) session, click Instructions. As a result, the Operation (Step) - Instructions (tirou1112m000) session starts in which you can link instructions to the
operation. Tools To link tools to an operation step: - Define tools in the Tools Requirement Planning module.
- If the tools belong to
a specific machine, you can link default tools to a machine in the Machine - Tools (tirou0110m000) session.
- If you defined a task
relationship in the Task Relationships (tirou0104m000) session,
you can link the tools to the task relationship in the Task Relationship - Tools (tirou0115m000) session.
- Select a routing
operation in the Routing Operations (tirou1102m000) session.
- Click Operation Steps on
the appropriate menu, to
link operation steps to the operation in the Operation Steps (tirou1105m000) session.
- Select an operation step in the Operation Steps (tirou1105m000) session.
- Click Tools on the appropriate menu, to link tools to the operation
step in the Operation (Step) - Tools (tirou1110m000) session.
Note - If you want to link tools directly to the routing operation,
on the appropriate menu of
the Routing Operations (tirou1102m000) session, click Tools. As a result, the Operation (Step) - Tools (tirou1110m000) session starts in which you can link tools to the
operation.
- You can also use the Operation (Step) - Tools (tirou1110m000) session to define additional default
tools information for an actual production order's operation, as present in the Estimated Tool Requirements (titrp0111m000) session.
Process variables To link process variables to an operation step: - Define process
variables in the Process Variables (tirou0105m000) session.
- If you defined a task
relationship in the Task Relationships (tirou0104m000) session, you can link the process variables to the
task relationship in the Task Relationship - Process Variables (tirou0116m000) session.
- Select a routing operation in the Routing Operations (tirou1102m000) session.
- Click Operation Steps on
the appropriate menu, to
link operation steps to the operation in the Operation Steps (tirou1105m000) session.
- Select an operation step in the Operation Steps (tirou1105m000) session.
- Click Process Variables on the appropriate menu, to link process variables to
the operation step in the Operation (Step) - Process Variables (tirou1111m000) session.
Note - If you want to prevent a process variable being ever removed
completely from a microrouting, select the Mandatory check box
in the Task Relationship - Process Variables (tirou0116m000) session.
- If you want to link process variables directly to the
routing operation, on the appropriate menu of the Routing Operations (tirou1102m000) session, click Process Variables. As a result, the Operation (Step) - Process Variables (tirou1111m000) session starts in which you can link process variables
to the operation.
