Production Bills of Material (timfc3100m000)

Use this session to manage production bills of material.

Using the P-BOM product can be manufactured in the job shop, subcontracting or repetitive manufacturing.

Note

To use this session the Job Shop by Site parameter in the Implemented Software Components (tccom0100s000) session must be set to Active or In Preparation.

Revision

The revision of the bill of material.

Status

The status of the production bill of material.

Allowed values

  • New
  • Approved
  • Expired
BOM Quantity

The number of manufactured products to which a bill of materials (BOM) applies. The BOM quantity enables you to specify very small product quantities as BOM components.

Example

You need very small amounts of certain colors to mix one liter of a specific paint, Cotton White. Therefore, a BOM quantity of 1000 liter is defined. The component quantities for the paint can then be as follows:

Paint Cotton White, 1000 liter:
White999 liter
Yellow0.6 liter
Red0.2 liter
Blue0.2 liter

 

Effective Date

The date the production bill of material becomes effective.

Expiry Date

The date the production bill of material is no longer effective.

Created By

The name of the employee responsible for the creation of the PBOM.

Created On

The date the PBOM was created.

Approved By

The employee responsible for the approval of the production bill of material.

Approved On

The date the production bill of material was approved.

Expired By

The eployee responsible for expiring the production bill of material.

Expired On

The date the production bill of material was expired.

The origin of the P-BOM.

Note

If the P-BOM is created by EDM based on an engineering item- Item Relationship, this field specifies the engineering item.
