| Calculate Sales Prices (ticpr2250m000)Use this session to calculate sales prices
for standard items. The
calculation can be performed only when the standard cost is calculated. From/To Item The raw materials, subassemblies, finished products, and tools
that can be purchased, stored, manufactured, and sold. An item can also represent a set of items handled as one kit,
or which exist in multiple product variants. You can also define nonphysical items, which are not
retained in inventory but can be used to post costs or to invoice services to
customers. The examples of nonphysical items: - Cost items (for example, electricity)
- Service items
- Subcontracting services
- List items (menus/options)
Item Group A group of items with similar characteristics. Each item
belongs to a particular item group. The item group is used in combination with
the item type to set up item defaults. Sales Price Group A group of items with corresponding price and discount agreements. Standard Cost Data Standard Cost Calculation Code Cost calculation is performed according to a cost-calculation code. You must enter a calculation code
of the Cost Price type. This calculation code is used to read the standard cost to
which the sales-price changes are added. Calculate Standard Costs If this check box is selected, LN performs a standard cost calculation. For each item in the specified
range the standard cost structure is calculated. Calculation Date The standard cost calculation date is important for simulating
standard cost/valuation price calculations on a date other than the current
date. The date can lie in the future or in the past. On the basis of this date, LN automatically
simulates the structure of the product and the routing as they exist on the
given cost calculation date. By default, LN shows the current
date. Sales Price Calculation Code Select the sales price-calculation code under which the
specific sales price surcharges are recorded. You must enter a code of the Sales Price type. Note You can record
calculation codes in the Cost Calculation Codes (ticpr1100m000) session. Sales Price Type The kind of sales price that is calculated. Rounding Method The calculated sales price can be automatically rounded off to
a certain amount. The rounding code must be predefined in the Rounding Codes (tcmcs0153s000) session. Global Price If this check box is selected, the sales price for the selected calculation group or item is calculated on
company level. Note Only visible if the multisite functionality is activated. Price per Office If this check box is selected, the sales price is calculated for a specific sales office or range of
offices. Note Only visible if the multisite functionality is activated. Sales Office The sales office or range of offices to which the Price per Office applies. Note Only visible if the multisite functionality is activated. Actualize Sales Prices If this check box is selected, the calculated sales
prices are actualized immediately. The result is that LN changes the values of
the following fields in the Items - Sales (tdisa0501m000) details session: - Sales Price
- Suggested Retail Price
If this check box is cleared, calculated sales prices
are not actualized. Print Changed Sales Prices If this check box is selected, LN prints a report showing for each item the
old and new sales price. The differences between the prices are printed as
well. Note LN only prints a report when the new price and
old price differ. Sales Price Based on Standard Cost If this check box is selected, the item sales data is
updated by the calculated sales price. The item sales data is also updated by
the calculated sales price if this check box is cleared, and surcharges are
defined for the item (group)/price calculation code combination. If this check box is cleared, and no surcharges are
defined for the item (group)/price calculation code combination, the item sales
data is not updated by the calculated sales price. Zero Sales Price Allowed If this check box is selected, the sales price is
updated to zero only when the new calculated price is set to zero. | |
