Note You can update MPNs by means of an MPN period. Each MPN with an effectivity period that falls within the MPN period or partly overlaps the MPN period, is selected for update.
Update MPN Details from Manufacturer If this check box is selected, the MPN details are overwritten by the selected data from the Manufacturers (tcmcs0160m000) session. Note If this check box is selected, you can specify the MPN details that you want to use from the Manufacturers (tcmcs0160m000) session by selecting or clearing the check boxes in the Manufacturer Part Number fields group box. Update Status If this check box is selected, the MPN's Status is updated. Update Status The value of the MPN's new Status. Update Blocking Reason If this check box is selected, and the MPN's new status is set to Blocked, the Blocking Reason is updated. Update Blocking Reason The reason why you have blocked the MPN for use. You can only select blocking reasons of the Blocked Manufacturer or Block Manufacturer Part Number type from the Reasons (tcmcs0105m000) session. Update Effective Date If this check box is selected, the MPN's Effective Date is updated. Update Effective Date The value of the MPN's new Effective Date. Update Expiry Date If this check box is selected, the MPN's Expiry Date is updated. Update Expiry Date The value of the MPN's new Expiry Date. Simulation Only If this check box is selected, updating MPN details is simulated. Print Errors If this check box is selected, an error report is printed if errors occur during the update process. Print Changes If this check box is selected, a report of all changed MPN details is printed.
