Service Departments - Item Defaults (tcibd1185s000)

Use this session to view, specify, and maintain the default service offices that are linked to an item type and item group in the Item Defaults (tcibd0502m000) session.

 

Service Office

A department clearly identified within the company business model to manage the services provided to a customer. The service office is used to identify the locations that are responsible for the service activities within the organization.

Defaults

If a check mark is displayed, item defaults are available for the service office in the Items - Service Defaults by Service Office (tsmdm2125m000) session.

Click Item - Service Defaults on the appropriate menu to view or specify your defaults in the Items - Service Defaults by Service Office (tsmdm2125m000) session.

Note

If item defaults for a service office are not specified in the Items - Service Defaults by Service Office (tsmdm2125m000) session, the (default) global item service data is used for defaulting.
