| Validate Master Data for Multisite (tccom0230m100)Use this session to validate the item
default, item, and other master data by site, office, and subentity generated or manually created during the In Preparation stage of the site activation process. To validate the data, select the options for which you want to
perform the validation and click Validate. The validation is performed for the companies of the current
company structure. The error report lists the data for which the site setup is
incorrect, for example, production bills of material which have component
warehouses in multiple sites. The complete list of checks used in this validation is
displayed in the report if the Validation Information check box is
selected. Item Defaults If this check box is selected, item default data by
site, office, and subentity is validated. In this validation, LN also checks that the
Item Production (tiipd001) and Item Production Defaults (tiipd002) tables are
not shared. This is because when sites are activated, the Job Shop Site field of the Item - Production (tiipd0101m000) session contains the site of the BOM and the routings
for the item related to the current company. Sites are activated if the Sites parameter in the Implemented Software Components (tccom0100s000) session is set to Active. If these tables are shared, and you activate sites, the same
site is allocated to the item for each company, whereas this site only applies
to the current company. Therefore, you cannot activate sites properly if the
item Production (tiipd001) and Item Production Defaults (tiipd002) tables are
shared. Common If this check box is selected, Common item data by site is
validated. Sales If this check box is selected, Sales Control item data by site
is validated. Project If this check box is selected, Project item data by site is
validated. Planning If this check box is selected, Enterprise Planning item data by
site is validated. Manufacturing If this check box is selected, Manufacturing item data by site is
validated. In this validation, LN also checks that the
