Planning - Generic Routing (cprpd3150m000)Use this session to to generate a generic routing for a configurable item. Note The generic routing generated in this session are used only for planning purposes. The CPQ Configurator Integration check box must be selected to use this session.
Main Item The item produced in the production order. Routing Unit The quantity of the item based on which the routing is planned. You can use this unit to include short operation times in the routing of an item. Start Operation If the operation does not follow any other operation, this field displays an indicator for a start operation. End Operation If the operation is the final operation, this field displays an indicator for an end operation. Operation One of a series of steps in a routing that are carried out successively to produce an item. The following data is collected during a routing operation:
This data is used to compute order lead times, to plan production orders and to calculate standard cost. Sequence Number The selected asset's identifying number to distinguish it from other products in a similar line. Next Operation If you defined a network routing, the operation that is specified in this field must be performed after the current operation. Note This field is visible if the Allow Parallel Operations in Routing check box in the Job Shop Master Data Parameters (tirou0100m000) session is selected.
Work Center The work center ID. When you define a work center code, you must find out which work center influences the cost estimates of production orders. The number of work centers need not match with the number of physical work centers in your organization, as not every physical work center has an impact on estimated costs. In the Production Planning (tisfc0110m000) session, you can modify the planning by having an operation carried out at another work center. In that case, the resource units must be similar. Note
Machine The machine on which the operation is performed. Effective Date The date when the validity period of an entity starts. In the case of effectivity control the reference date is checked against the effective date. If the reference date is greater than or equal to the effective date the configuration entity is valid. Expiry Date The date on which the operation line is no longer valid. If you do not specify an expiry date, LN automatically sets the date to its maximum value. Planned Production Time The planned production time is used when you determine the average lead time and the average capacity for items with order system Planned. Planning Percentage The planning percentage serves to perform a Enterprise Planning calculation, as does the Planning Quantity field. Lead Time Offset This field is only used by Enterprise Planning. When a generic item is planned, the start date of an operation is calculated by offsetting the requirement date of the generic item with the lead time offset. The finish date of the operation is determined by adding the planned production time. The planning percentage is used to determine the required work center capacity.
