| Initialize Data Upgrade Run (ttspt2200m000) Use this session to perform these
tasks: - Initialize a data upgrade run. During the initialization detailed data
about the involved upgrade programs is retrieved and stored in the Data Upgrade
Tasks (ttspt220) table.
- Re-initialize a data upgrade run. Re-initialization is
required if:
- You want to start a simulation all over again.
- New upgrade program objects have been installed since the
previous initialization.
Package Combination The package combination in which the upgrade will be
performed. The package combination determines the version of the
software, such as FP7. It is related to the companies that must be upgraded and
to the upgrade programs. Hinweis Ensure this field contains your current package
combination. Run Number A unique identification of a Data Upgrade Run, within the package combination. Special Run If this check box is selected, you must specify an
Upgrade Task Source, such as a PMC Solution, in the following fields. The initialization of
the run is based on the upgrade programs in this Upgrade Task Source. If this check box is cleared, the initialization of the
run is based on all upgrade programs in the package combination of the
user. Upgrade Task Source The type of initialization for the run. Zulässige Werte PMC Solution | The run will be
initialized based on the upgrade programs in a PMC Solution. |
PMC Solution The Solution upon which the initialization of the run will
be based. During the initialization detailed data about the upgrade programs in this solution is retrieved and stored in
the Data Upgrade Tasks (ttspt220) table. Range If this check box is selected, you must specify a range
of companies that will be upgraded. Range The first company in the range of companies that will be
upgraded. Range The last company in the range of companies that will be
upgraded. Hinweis Companies that are related to each other must be processed
in the same run. If the company selection does not contain all related
companies, an error message is displayed. The message indicates the related
companies that must be included in the selection. List If this check box is selected, you must specify a list
of companies that will be upgraded. List The companies that will be upgraded. The companies must be
separated by commas. Hinweis Companies that are related to each other must be processed
in the same run. If the company selection does not contain all related
companies, an error message is displayed. The message specifies the missing
companies that must be included in the selection. Click Make Valid to automatically add the
missing companies to the list of company numbers. Keep Manual Changes You can only select this check box if you re-initialize a data
upgrade run. During the previous initialization, you may have made manual
changes to the settings. If this check box is selected, these changes are also
applied during the re-initialization. If this check box is cleared, these changes are
overwritten, so they are not applied during the re-initialization. Number of Additional Servers The number of additional bshells that are used to
(re)initialize a data upgrade run. Additional bshells can greatly improve the
performance. See also Additional servers. Source Feature Pack The number of the source feature pack for which the upgrade
will be performed, such as 7 in case of FP7. The source feature pack defines the steps the upgrade
programs will perform. Vorsicht! Be sure to enter the correct source feature pack number.
The data upgrades to be performed will be based on the specified source feature
pack number: - If the number is too low, too much data will be converted
and possibly data will be overwritten with wrong values.
- If the number is too high, not all data will be converted
and possibly the data will not be consistent.
Path logfile(s) The path where the reports generated by the upgrade programs will be stored. Start Data Upgrade Engine After Initialization If this check box is selected, the Data Upgrade Engine (ttspt2201m000) session starts automatically after the initialization
is finished. | |
