Business Processes by Project Model (tgbrg4160s000)

Use this session to display and maintain the business-process details.

Because business processes are initially created in the Business Processes (tgbrg5500m000) session, you can change most of the details in that session only.

If your current modeling version is not the same as the version of the project model in which the business process is incorporated, you cannot maintain any details.

Sequence

sequence number. This number only takes effect in the Business Processes by Project Model (tgbrg4560m000) session.

Hinweis

If a business process is added to a business model, the sequence number is automatically increased by one. This value can be overwritten.

Use the Expand Process Structure command and the Collapse Process Structure command to number the business processes in such a way that they indicate which subprocesses belong to which (main) process. For example, the subprocesses of (main) process 10 are numbered 11, 12, 13 ,and so on.

Business Process

Ein Satz von einer oder mehreren Aktivitäten und Zuständen, die zusammen zum Erreichen eines Geschäftsziels führen.

Subprocess

If this check box is selected, the business process is a so-called nested process. In other words, the process is incorporated into another process.

The Subprocess field is blank when:

  • The Business process is added manually.
  • The Business process is imported in the Project model based on a direct link with a Role.

The Subprocess field is filled when the Business Process is imported in the Project model as a sub process. A process that is part of another process. The parent (Main) process has a link to a Role.

The Subprocess field can be changed manually. This Subprocess field is used when a User dialog box is generated.
